August 1st through the 5th
August 1-5, 2011 in Plains, Montana
for 9th-12th graders (including incoming 9th graders)
Camp adventures include: rock climbing, white water rafting, canoeing,
mountain biking, ropes course
Challenge, adventure, some excitement, living in community, teamwork, getting closer to God and each other; these are all ways to describe our week in Montana. Mountain biking, river kayaking, rock climbing, high static challenges and zip line (30 feet up in the trees) and white water rafting all provided youth and leaders a chance to experience life out of their comfort zone and experience a “trustworthy God”. A low ropes challenge course and building a “Huck Finn” raft gave teens some great team building and problem solving experience. Living in a small group with a camp staff member (great Christian role models) provided a chance for reflection and learning to be “a Body of Christ”. If you haven't been to Big Horn this is an experience you don't want to miss!
