Bring some snacks, friends and family... I'm sure it will be fun!

Throughout the summer you can enjoy a great free family flick on our big screen. Bring your blanket, chairs and get set to have some great outdoor fun! Concessions will be sold.

Get into the word today.

Its a perfect day to journal, or sit down and write some music, maybe you express through painting, or doodles, maybe just meditation on scripture.

Don't let the bible get disty this summer with all the other events going on this summer. 

Remember the Lord needs to be first in our lives. 

How is He staying number one in your life and how are you honoring him daily?

Head on up to the San Juan Islands sometime this weekend to see the whales.

The Jr. High Kids are getting back this afternoon from camp.

Make some cookies and pass them out to them as they arrive! 

Greet them with love as they return from their fun and games.  

Make some Welcome Back signs and show your support for the kids of our church family. 

 

Take today to do something special for someone!

There are so many ways to give back and to be a Christian to others.

Lets shine our lights this week... Plan a mission event with some friends for this weekend today.

Take time to get it organized and meet some friends to plan it out.

Take your dog, some games, a few balls or a frisbee and make it a fun day!

Bring a few sandwiches to pass out and hey if you are ambitious, go and make a lemonade stand and give it out free!

 COMMUNITY CAMPOUT! BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND Saturday, August 20, 2011

Come and campout in Bradley Lake Park! Enjoy a night sleeping
under the stars while we provide activities for you and your entire family.
There will be lots of games and crafts, and even s’more making over a campfire.
Meals will be included, a live band will be playing and a big screen movie will show at
dusk, so come meet new people, relax and enjoy a camping experience like no other.
Meals: Join us for a hot dog dinner which includes hot dogs, chips, drinks and a few side dishes.
In the morning you will be treated to a free breakfast with juice and freshly brewed coffee.
Games & Activities: There will be several games and activities for families to participate in and also some just for kids!

Live Music: Featuring THE AFRODISIACS from 5:00 - 7:00 PM…(Disco Music)
Movie: Yogi Bear (The new version – rated PG)
The movie will begin at dusk, (9:30pm). Concessions will be available for purchase.
S’more Making: The S’more making station will be open prior to the movie and remain open until the movie is over.

All supplies and ingredients will be provided.
Security: Security will be provided during the entire event by city staff.

Campout Schedule: Check-in for the event will begin at 2:30 PM with activities for the family starting promptly at 3PM. Hot Dog
Dinner served at 5:00 PM | Movie starts at dusk with | s’more making beginning at 8:00pm. Breakfastserved 7:30 – 9:30 AM with park clean up and check out to follow. 

Event ends 10AM Sunday the 21st.

July 19

 Today is a concert in the park! Get your friends and head out to Pioneer Park with your friends, some food, and your pups. This will be a fun event to entertain your afternoon.

Get your Friends together and take a trip to Seattle!

Head out to Seattle and explore.

 

Some fun locations are Gas Works Park, 

Space Needle, Experience Music Project, Woodland Park ZOO

U-District, and Green Lake. There are so many fun places to go. Find some fun restaurant and take some fun photos to remember and have fun!

 Today is a perfect opportunity to get together with some friends,

play some games or watch a movie.

If you are wanting to get out of the house go to the batting cages, or head out to bowling, mini golf, etc.

Otherwise it is easy and FREE to get friends together for a card night.

Have everyone bring a game, snack, or a movie and make it a game movie night! 

It is easy to get your friends together and to have fun... 

It's harder to be bored than to do something and entertain yourself.

This week in town there are some fun things happening... Unfortunately not till tomorrow and this weekend.
Fortunately for you, I have come up with something fun for today!
Today is a perfect for some art stuff.
Go down to Michael's or JoAnn's Fabric and make something... Get your friends together to make something fun.
Make a painting, build a bird house,
The options are endless!
Maybe find se fun paper and stickers and work on making your nice card or letter for that person who is special to you in some way.
Happy hunting... For some craft to do...

Today has been nice... felt like there might have been a chance for rain, but the sun held out! YAY! 

Well since this did not go out like it was scheduled (due to minor technical difficulties) I have saved the fun planned for today for tomorrow and I will propose a fun movie night for tonight's great adventure! 

 Go get a movie and a box of popcorn along with your favorite snack and call it a night!

Movie nights are awesome and there are some great new movie releases! 

As well as some fun ones you can catch at the theater.

Today is a gorgeous day. Thank you Lord for sunshine!

  Today is a great day to do things outdoors. 

Do you have a dog? Does your neighbor have a dog? 

Go and walk a dog today. 

Find out someone who may have trouble getting out to walk their dog and walk their dog for them... or walk your own... if you're feeling ambitious, bath your pup for your parents... that will for sure bless them... and possibly your noses! 

If you don't have a dog, and you cannot walk a neighbors' then go around and mow a lawn. Everyone has someone on the block that does not mow their lawn enough...

you never know what kind of situation might have caused that. Maybe you mowing their lawn will be a BIG blessing to them. 

Make it your mission to help someone someway or somehow this summer...

Today is actually an event for tonight! So you have LOTS of time to coordinate... 

Get friends together and watch some stars! It should be a beautiful night, and all the smoke from the 4th or July celebrations should have blown off by now... 

Get a couple of blankest or sleeping bags and some of your closest friends and star gaze! 

You should be able to see Saturn tonight!

The giant planet Saturn stands to the upper right of the Moon this evening. It looks like a golden star. The true star Spica, which is the brightest star of the constellation Virgo, is to the Moon's upper left.

 What a fun way to entertain and have some fun! Have friends over early and make some smores or tell some spooky stories in the moonlight! Be safe and have fun watching the stars!!!
